WOW! That’s what I have to say after leaving the Belleview Biltmore Hotel in Clearwater Florida following the 1st Annual TAPSCON. The TAPSCON Paranormal Conference was held on Saturday July 19th and Sunday July 20th, with most VIP’s checking in on Friday July 18th.
The VIP package offered lectures by Ciaran O’Keefe, Jason Hawes & Grant Wilson, John Zaffis and Tim Arion on Saturday and Keith Johnson and Bill LoNero on Sunday. There were a number of public lectures that were offered on both days that included Amy Bruni, CJ Sellers & Michelle Torrey, Dusty Smith, Alexandra Holzer and others. Many of the VIP’s had a chance to explore the Biltmore Friday night and some even had some paranormal experiences.

I don’t want to spend a lot of time discussing the booths at the conference or the talks, but just a few moments talking about the TAPS personnel, and the celebrities of the show. These guys are frigen Awesome. If you have never been to an event that has been put on by TAPS or an organization that is featuring any of them, you need to go. I don’t think I have met a more personable group of people. At the drop of a hat they were willing to help in any way they could, the celebrities were more than willing to talk and have Kodak moments with anyone who asked, even after having camera’s flashed in their faces all day. So if you ever get the opportunity to go to anything they offer (Go, Go, Go), don’t walk, run to their next offering.

I think I have made my mind up to go again next year. If this is the type of conference they put on, you would be crazy to miss it. I just hope I can get my whole group to save up and make the trek down to Clearwater next year. I think the tickets are already on sale.
If you have a moment go to our photo section and take a look at some of the photos that were taken at the conference. This is not all of them as I must have taken 3 or 4 hundred but gives you an idea of what it was like.
The only thing that will make the conference better next year is having it in May. The heat was not too bad but the humidity would kill you. Hope you get a chance to go next year, you may see the whole TSS crew there also.
