DVR System and Cameras:
Our DVR systems run in JPEG2000 format. We have 4 channel DVR's that come equipped with motion detection, internet accessibility, PTZ control, real-time display, audio recording and more. The dual codec DVR's come with a DVD-RW drive built-in that will easily allow you to create backup video of any event, and allow you to play this backup disk on any standard PC with no proprietary software required. A DVD disc has roughly six times the capacity that a regular CD does, allowing you to store more footage on a single disc.
These dual codec series has a VGA output that allows us to use any standard computer monitor to view the system. The dual codec series also allows us to record audio for all of our cameras, which is a premium feature on a digital video recorder. This 4 channel DVR features triplex operation, which allows us to do 3 things at once (view live video, burn a DVD, view via the internet).
We also have a battery of bullet style cameras that we use. All of our cameras are 0lux and have Sony CCD chips in them. Along with the two 4 channel DVR's we have 2 24IR, 2 54IR, 2 54IR high resolution, 4 104 IR and 1 Duel Camera combo for those long distance shots. All of our cameras have external microphones attached so we get the audio along with the video, makes a great back up for those EVP's. Basically, all of the information referred to in still photography apply here, the only difference is it's video not still photography.
